Courses

All of our courses are designed around our three pillars - Responsible AI Usage, Personalization, and Goal-oriented Learning. Though our curriculum will include challenging concepts, classes are meant to be fun and students are encouraged to be curious. We do not grade students and we do not assign homework, but we encourage students to further investigate course topics at home. In each course, students will:

  • Learn how to safely navigate AI content, especially in regards to fake news and scams

  • Learn how an AI thinks, and how it can hallucinate and produce errors

  • Personalize their own AI assistant, and learn how to protect their private information

  • Complete the course project

  • Learn the skills and AI tools necessary to complete the course project

Prerequisites and Technology

  • Students must be between the ages of 8-14 and must not have started high school.

  • An average typing speed of at least 15 words per minute

  • Comfort with Google searches and navigating the web

  • Headphones are provided but students may bring their own.

AI for Media Creation

*This course has 6 sessions and runs from September 14 - October 1. Students meet twice a week on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.
Calling all content creators! In this course, we’ll learn how to use multiple AI tools to create media such as videos and music. Students create either a movie trailer or music video for their course project. Upon completion, students will have learned the foundations of the following AI tools and skills:

  • LLM of their choice (Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini)

  • Dreamina (AI creation studio)

  • Seedance (video generator)

  • Nano Banana (image generator)

  • Suno (music generator)

  • ElevenLabs (voice generator)

  • Storytelling

  • Video Editing

  • An email address (or parent email address)

Code Design with AI

No coding experience? No problem! Learn the fundamentals of code design using Claude Code in this beginner-friendly course. Students build their own online game, and learn the following AI tools and skills:

  • LLM (either Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini)

  • Claude Code

  • Basics of HTML/CSS/Javascript

  • Code design

  • Development Loops

  • Debugging

  • File Structure
