Mechy’s Philosophy
Mechy (pronounced MEK-ee, rhymes with techy) originates from the word mecha. In the world of Japanese manga and anime, mecha refers to giant humanoid robots that are often piloted by humans. Mecha can be sentient and the most powerful mecha form a synergistic relationship with its pilot. The cooperative relationship between the human pilot and the AI within the mecha is what drives them towards optimal performance.
This synergy between man and machine is what Mechy represents. We believe that AI is meant to enhance us, but we are also enhancing AI. We provide the wisdom, curation, and purpose that an AI intrinsically lacks. This optimal feedback loop between human and AI is what Mechy strives to teach.
About the Founder
Ming Archbold is a passionate educator with a strong vision for the future of AI and robotics. He has over ten years of experience as an educator, five of which were within schools as a school administrator. He has also worked for education consulting companies focusing on student data and school data systems, and was part of the founding team for one of Manhattan’s leading private schools. Most recently, he ran a Corporate English business in Taiwan, consulting some of Taiwan’s leading companies.
Ming holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Entrepreneurship from the University of Notre Dame.
